Welcome to the Just-In system (the "System" or the "App"). Our users' privacy matters greatly to us. This privacy policy is intended to explain what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it, when you use our website and mobile application.

1. What information do we collect?

We collect information that you or your employer provide to us directly, as well as information collected automatically while using the system:

  • Personal information: Full name, email address, phone number, ID number (if required by the employer), and login details (encrypted passwords).
  • Employment information: Company/organization affiliation, role (manager/employee), attendance data, hours reporting, vacation and sick leave records.
  • Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type, mobile device type (Device ID), app crash data, and login times.
  • Location data (GPS): If required by the employer, the system may collect precise location data solely when performing a "clock-in/clock-out" action, in order to verify the employee's presence at the work location. We do not track your location during the rest of the day.

2. How do we use the information?

The information collected is used for the following purposes:

  • Providing the services, operating the system, and enabling the employer to manage working hours and attendance.
  • Creating user accounts and sending login details (via SMS or email).
  • Providing technical support and handling customer inquiries.
  • Improving and upgrading the app's user experience.
  • Securing the system, preventing fraud, and detecting unauthorized access.

3. Sharing information with third parties

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following cases:

  • With your employer: Your attendance and work data is visible to the system administrators at the company where you are employed.
  • External service providers: We may use external vendors (such as hosting servers, SMS sending services - for example the company MaxStore, and bookkeeping services such as iCount) operating under strict confidentiality agreements, for the purpose of operating the system.
  • Legal requirements: If required to do so by law, court order, or government regulation.

4. Information security

We employ advanced technological and organizational security measures (including data encryption and secure SSL/HTTPS communication) to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no system is completely immune to faults or breaches, and therefore we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. User rights

By law, you have the right to review your personal information stored in the system. You also have the right to request correction of incorrect or outdated information. Requests to delete personal information will be handled subject to legal requirements and your employer's record-keeping obligations (since attendance data is generally required under labor law). To do so, please contact your employer or system administrator directly within your organization.

6. Use of the mobile app (Android/iOS)

Our app requires access to the device's internet connection in order to sync with the system's servers. The app may also request access permissions to the camera (for uploading sick notes) or to location (for clock-in/clock-out purposes). You can grant or revoke these permissions via your device settings at any time.

7. Changes to the privacy policy

We reserve the right to update or change this policy from time to time. In the event of material changes, we will post a prominent notice on the website or app.
